The Housing Rights & Reform Alliance (‘the Alliance’) is committed to safeguarding any personal data you provide in any interaction you have with us.

Personal data may include your Name, Address, Contact details, Date of Birth, Bank account or Credit Card details, and other information you choose to submit.

When you submit personal data we will only process it as is necessary to enable efficient administration and the work of the Alliance.  We may communicate with you about certain events via email and/or text message and social media.

Your personal data may be sent outside of the European Economic Area (EEA) as a result of the Alliance’s use of certain software (e.g. websites, email systems), the providers of which may store some of their data in servers outside of the EEA.

The Alliance does not gather any personal data via ‘cookies’ on websites.

Personal data obtained for the purpose of membership or volunteering is retained indefinitely.

Any data obtained for donation purposes may be retained for 5 years after the transaction as details may be required in order to comply with certain legal obligations, for example the Standards in Public Office, and to demonstrate proof of payment.

Please note that you have the right to request to have your personal data updated, rectified, or deleted if you wish. You have the right to have the processing of your personal data restricted and you have the right to withdraw any consent provided at any time.

You can opt-out of any communications by advising us or by using the opt-out services provided.
